Valerie Kunsman serves as a part-time Office Administrator at Faith UMC Rockville, a position she has held since January 2020. Although she began a few months before the church office was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she feels a strong connection to both her team of colleagues and the congregation at Faith.

 

With a master’s degree in social work, she has worked in the field of addiction, aging, development disabilities and healthcare among low-income populations. Most of her career has been dedicated to providing mental health and educational services to children who were adopted, their families, and youth in foster care.
