Missionary Covenant: Nan McCurdy

--with her husband Miguel Mairena, previously served in Nicaragua and now serves with Give Ye Them to Eat in Puebla, Mexico. The purpose of “Give Ye Them to Eat” is to strengthen the capabilities of marginalized people and communities to meet their basic needs, and to determine and sustain a just and integrated development process.

United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)

--dedicated to alleviating human suffering around the globe. UMCOR’s work includes programs and projects in disaster response, health, sustainable agriculture, food security, relief supplies, and more. UMCOR’s work reaches people in more than 80 countries, including the United States. They provide humanitarian relief when war, conflict, or natural disaster disrupt life to such an extent that communities are unable to recover on their own.
