Missionary Covenant: Dr. Belinda Forbes

--a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church serving in Nicaragua as liaison for Faith and Health Partnerships with Fundacíon Amos Salud y Esperanza in Central America. As a dentist, Dr. Forbes works with a community- based primary dental health program where she also mentors volunteers.

​​​Missionary Covenant: Kimberly Lewis

--a missionary with the Global Missionary for The United Methodist Church, Kimberly Lynn “Kim” Lewis serves as Co-Director of Arbol de Vida Training Center at Give Ye Them to Eat in Puebla, Mexico.   From their newsletter, the Lewis' stated, "We have been discerning the call to be global missionaries as a pathway to retirement for almost 15 years and have been guided by the scripture of 1 Peter 4:10, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

--a non-profit dedicated to alleviating human suffering around the globe. UMCOR’s work includes programs and projects in disaster response, health, sustainable agriculture, food security, relief supplies, and more. UMCOR’s work reaches people in more than 80 countries, including the United States. They provide humanitarian relief when war, conflict, or natural disaster disrupt life to such an extent that communities are unable to recover on their own.
