Faith United Methodist Foundation Grant Recipients: 2026

2026 GRANTS ENABLE SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE COMMUNITY

The Faith United Methodist Foundation announced the awarding of grants totaling $19,600, to eight not-for-profit organizations serving the DC Metro area, with most located in Montgomery County.

Foundation Chair, Gordon Henley noted that grants are for specific projects and programs consistent with the mission of Faith UMC and the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church. “This year, the Foundation reviewed 53 grant applications, a considerable uptick in the number over previous years,” said Henley. “The number and diverse range of services in the applications let us know that the volume of need facing families and individuals in our area is substantial.”
